I am just not sure which direction I want to go.

I will have a few ultra sweet CZ's and 1911's when I am done with the 2 I have in process.

My commander is coming along very nicely at Allen's right now. It will be a serious piece. Allen is doing his machine magic.

For me:
A CZ all steel compact in .40.
A CZ P02 (a P01 with a safety and an Omega trigger system)
A beater 75B or 75BD to get upgraded and cerakoted.
A CZ 1911.

Maybe a sweet AR-10 in stainless bull barrel but that is limited in how much it can be used.
Sisters place is off limits right now as she and her hubby are getting custody of his girls so no guns for a while.....sucks.

I see the CZ online around $750, which isn't bad considering the quality of the gun. A bit steep for a GI 1911, but when you realize it's basically a GI version of a DW, it's not so bad...

Is the front site on those easily changeable or will it have to be milled?

If it is a staked in site post it will need to be milled.

My new to me Mil-spec is a staked front site.....
