I would love to have a dollar for every time I have been driving on the highway musing about how much fun a bike sounded like and before completing the thought have some idiot make me thankful to have a semi and not a bike. I never did try a motorcycle.

Chicago is the worst place to be on a bike.

The latest thrill is high speed racing.

We were on our way back from WI and two sports cars came from behind us so fast I didn't even see them until they changed lanes right in front of me so they didn't rearend a semi. We always stop and put on out leathers before going through Chicago regardless of the outside temp. "Dress for the slide not the ride"

My wife aka Mrs. Magoo, has hit a tree, my other truck in the driveway, the lawn tractor, tore off two mirrors ( on what I have no idea), collected a rainbow of paint smears from what I assume to be other cars in the parking lots, and driven through the end of the garage in two different homes. I'm sure there are more, I try to forget.

Necessity is the mother of invention. This is why they have invented rubber baby buggy bumpers. :):

My first wife wrecked my finances and credit rating, but that's a different thing. The car she had when I met her had been totaled, got T-boned in an intersection. That one actually wasn't her fault. To look at it, you'd be surprised it could do anything but turn right, but it drove ok for a couple of months until we could get her something better.

After all the accidents/wrecks my daughter had, I was going to buy her a combine to drive to college but they would not let it on campus.... she turned a honda accord into a honda accordian... ripped the front off a grand prix (it was parked) with my truck... blew up a motor in a cavalier or two... went thru a set of tires in less than 3500 miles in one of the cavaliers... I had to buy a telephone pole for AEP and pay for all the guys that had to fix it..AEP gives you a itemized bill for everything. Was hit by a deer in the country ( yes it was the deers fault, I am sure she was sitting at a stop sign and a deer jumped out and thru itself on her hood repeatedly), she came cruising into the driveway with the headlight and turn signal dragging by the wires and the hood pushed into the radiator... she thought the car was fine. That was in less than 2 years. My insurance person loved me. Here is a quote from her the first day we went driving " Im not so sure about this driving thing... I have a tendency to space out":dunno: I did not want her to have her license but was convinced she was ready for it and after all she did not miss any questions on the test and the driving instructor gave her the thumbs up...
Its OK dont be alarmed she moved out of state now. She lives in Oregon and only rides a bike.

My wife once Rusty Wallaced a 91 Bonneville. Rolled it multiple times and walked away. It was impressive.

My wife was test driving a Jeep Cherokee and backed in to a light pole. It bent the hitch. We were going to buy it anyway. She also rear ended someone a few years later, minor damage. I have never been in a vehicle crash, fortunately.

If I started blathering on about the worst days that my wife had which she already felt horrible about, my wife may say that I was trying to wreck our relationship.

Last accident my wife was in...She and I and a friend were heading out to eat. The friend was parked behind us in the driveway and we were taking our car. No big deal, just pull forward right? We actually had to walk around the other car to get to our car. We get in, she puts it in reverse and lets off the brake. I start yelling "stop, Stop!" BAM! She turns to me mad as a hornet and I asked "why didn't you stop?". Her response..."You didn't say what to stop doing."

My wife partially raised the garage door ( large, single door on 2 car garage ) for some reason and came back into the house without closing it. An hour or two later she was going grocery shopping. She walked from the house into the garage on the passenger's side of vehicle, around the rear of the vehicle between it and the PARTALLY open garage door, got into vehicle, and started to back out of the garage...stopped after backing into the partially raised door. Apparently the door was high enough that she did not "see it" ( she is 5' tall ), high enough the vehicle rear/reverse obstacle alert did not activate, but not high enough for a mid-sized SUV to go beneath. Vehicle repair came out of pocket ( $1,000 deductible ) as did the door replacement ( property damage portion of insurance does not pertain to your own property ).

Well..... My daughter's car was down, so I let her borrow my car...... which she promptly totaled. And in the meantime my wife was driving home from a baby shower in Muncie when the car blew a radiator hose on I-69. She was in a hurry to get home and she thought she could make it. WRONG! Fried the motor in her Camry that only had 60,000 miles on it. DUhhhhhh.......My daughter was not injured from her little bout with "Black Ice" and my wife only had to wait an hour for me to show up where the car finally died along side the highway to give her a ride home. It was a very quiet ride home that seemed to take forever. Things could have been worse I guess. At least We still had my work truck.

In 12/14, a deer stepped out in front of my wife and the collision totaled the Pontiac Vibe she was driving. She loved that car, so we bought another used one a couple of weeks later. By the following February, she collided with a SUV during on a slick, snowy day, and totaled that one. She's done with Vibes now.

All those wrecks would give me a bad vibe too.
