Thanks. I was already getting prices from CGW to refit the slide and barrel. ($190 plus shipping btw)
Yes, they changed the angle of the feed ramp on those. They used to have problems. I had an older one that ran fine but some people had problems. I hope this one runs well for the new owner.

Do you think people were having a tough time with HPs feeding or was it another issue?

It was just certain HPs. I ran Golden Sabers and had no problem. I wouldn't plan on any investment until I knew how she was going to run. Also, if it isn't going to be used in a defensive role it really shouldn't matter.

I texted BA an hour or so ago and told him the seeds of his efforts have sprouted and are flousrishing.

He has been a fanatic since before I knew him.

1st Shoot we attended and actually met FTF he had several CZ's and no one really knew what they were. I ran a few and was impressed. I saw his 97 and the heat was on. This was maybe 3 years ago possibly 4. Now we have all drank the :koolaid: and it is in fact his fault..........
It's good to see all of the new faces in here. It's kind of amazing that this thread is on its tenth edition. That means we're approaching 50k posts and at least some of them were about CZs. ;)

    Morning folks! :coffee:

My older 97B ran fine as long as the bullet profile was somewhat rounded. The only thing I recall it having issues with was the occasional FTF with flat sided XTP based hollowpoints. Even then, it was rare to have an issue.

I know that it's probably a mistake to be buying .40s when 'the round is dead', but I think I'm going to make an offer on the one on the CZ site. It has some cosmetic issues but that's nothing that cannot be fixed with a bit of Cerakote. I'm not buying the idea that .40 is going away anytime soon. It will be plentiful during my lifetime I'm sure. In the right gun, it's a great round. Problem is that too many people judge it out of the wrong gun. That's like declaring the 9mm to be a crappy round because you hate how it feels when shot through a PF9. Long live .40!

I will add a 40 at some point. Will most likely be an SP01. Trying to hold off on adding anymore calibers at this point. I got out of 45 last summer and swore I wouldn't get back in for awhile..........

I didn't see one on the CZ Forum.
