I would also like to thank Kevin, Sharon and everyone else involved in putting on such a great event. This was my first endeavor at shooting beyond 100 yards. I am still absorbing everything I learned. I watched in amazement that a 75 year old battle rifle, following standard come ups(...while folks around me were using ballistic calculators), shot all those different yardages true to the numbers. When I messed up and doubled my adjustment on the 400 yard line and was advised by the pits that I was 4 MOA high, I made the proper corrections and that old rifle went right back down the range right on the money elevation wise.
One of the reason that I keep coming back to events is that I get to meet new folks. It is also fun to shoot with all the great folks I have met at past events. I can't thank everyone on the line enough for their encouragement and camaraderie.
Last but not least is that I met some really awesome, well raised young folks. I can't tell you how refreshing to me that is. I am finding that very common at Revere's Riders events.
Thanks again to everyone. I'll spend the summer working on my NPOA, my sitting position and my transitions from standing and see you all in October.
Oh...and least I forget: "DON'T WRAP THAT THUMB AROUND THE PISTOL GRIP!!!"
ETA: I meant to take more pictures; but, in all the learning I got distracted.
Here are the few that I took: http://s206.photobucket.com/user/TheJoker666_2007/slideshow/Reveres Riders Field Rifle February 2017
