One of the guys who is an immigrant in the shipping yard in East Chicago where I load every morning brought up this whole immigration deal and says. "We have 11 immigrants working here" and none of them are all to happy about the Trump administration situation. They know I supported Trump in this election and they try to bait me into arguing with them.
I pointed out the fact that if they all immigrated the legal way then they should'nt have anything to worry about. To my knowledge I have'nt seen anyone attempting to deport or prevent law abiding LEGAL immigrants from participation in everything that America has to offer because this isn't about LEGAL immigration and I leave it at that.
That temporary oversight was remedied as you have pointed out.Ummm, you mean other than than Trump.gov not allowing green card holders from the seven naughty countries into the USA? (at least at first)
I wish for a day without whining from the left.....
The same thing that happens after a government shutdown: they will return, determined to believe that everyone missed them and suffered in some way, dismissing any other possibility even as they sweep up the remnants of what appear to have been great festivities and celebration which occurred during their brief absence.
Well we got though it...
So did this protest actually prove anything? Any massive inconvenience because people downed tools in support of illegal immigrants?Well we got though it...
Mark levin laughs at the government shutdown of non-essential staff during gridlocks.
he points out the world doesn't collapse on weekends or federal holidays
the term "nonessential staff" makes me shake my head.
...That ought to be the first criteria when the government seeks to add employees to its pyroll: is this position ESSENTIAL to perform necessary government functions?
If the answer is anything but a fully confident "yes" there should be no hire.
