While we're talking flags, we really need to get back to basics on who we fly the flag at half-staff for. There are plenty of standards we could employ, but pick a logical one that involves people of national or state-wide renown and stick with it.

What I'm getting at is the reasons you cite are deeply personal and vary widely with culture, background, raising, and a host of other factors.

The point would be, we are not forcing liberals to celebrate our specialness as gun owners and not being 'allies'

I can understand. It comes in three basic forms. There are cases like one time my mom was all over a handful of Brazilian kids speaking the dialect of Portuguese spoken in their home area. Mom did not speak Portuguese. There will also be dkmd speaking what I can recognize as organized languages but nothing I can recognize as a national or regional language. Then there are others speaking gibberish in response to social pressure.

The telltale is that according to scripture there should be an interpreter present if it is happening within the will of God

In truth, I personally haven't fully considered that, I got sidetracked by a tangential issue. My gut reaction is probably not, but I'd have to do more reading and thinking to fully grasp the issue, I think.

But have you considered the possibility that liberals look for allies and celebration as a way to move the needle towards wide spread acceptance of certain groups of people, or because of a history of extreme mistreatment?

Don't misinterpret me, I'm just asking the question. There is value in seeing all sides of the argument and considering them thoughtfully.

I would consider it pandering. It does not achieve that result. I have a more moderate view than those before me on account of interaction with actual homosexuals who I consider to be good people. The leftist conversion of these people into political footballs has the opposite effect, and I am inclined that this manufacture of division is deliberate.

My great grandmother went to a church that "spoke in tongues". She was a pretty bad a** lady, i never saw her speak in tongues though. Gave me my fist air rifle as a kid when I wasnt allowed to have one at home. Also always had Neapolitan at the ready. Allowed me to say god dangit, which was not allowed in my half methodist/catholic upbringing.

Im going to have to stand up for tongue speakers here. lol
