Was going thru the safe this morning and pulled out a Ruger MK II that I have never shot. It's a NRA 1of 500 made. I looked up the value and was shocked. $899... Don't know if that was a one off value. Am I on the right track value or not?

I'm waiting for a bit more sunshine, then hitting the trails at the Creek today. This is my 1st trip down here with the new camera.
I don't hike fast, but I'm still moving ..... and walking is my best exercise these days.

@mcapo --- what I would give to be young again ! But thankfully, I still have my memories. Freesome threesomes tend to be memorable ! ;)

a $900 Ruger MKII .... hmmm, I don't think I'd pay that for it. Too many other things I have my eyes on for that $900 payout.

Like the BUL Armory opportunities still in the marketplace.

Of course, not saying it isn't worth it or that the number is totally inflated, just that it would not be worth it to me for that kind of money.

    YMMV

I would not pay that either but it is a limited edition. I think that's why the price is so high. You know how some people will buy things just to have a limited edition of something. IMG_2662.jpeg IMG_2663.jpeg

welp, it is a pretty little thing - isn't it..?!!

If you are gonna sell it it actually might bring close to that number....who knows.

Like you state - Somebody will buy it just because it's a numbered edition.

    Cool gun, Chris.!!

Those are tough, there are at least three variations floating around, the NRA 1-500's, serial numbers starting with NRA and standard ruger numbers and NRA marked guns and boxes with traditional Ruger serial numbers.

You just taught me something. This one starts with NRA but not the 1-500 S/N. So it’s not 1 of 500. I wonder how many of this version were made? From my research they have been selling for between $500-$600 lately.
