I too love Enfields. I have two No.4 MK1, A BSA MK5 jungle carbine and a Gibbs rifle fake jungle carbine. The Gibbs rifle is a 2A cut down to look a jungle carbine. That gun is a blast to shoot.

I can only go by what my manual says. I'm looking at my manual that came with my Clayco and on the inside it says, this firearm is manufactured by China North Industries Corporation ( NORINCO) a comprehensive state enterprise. The manual is dated 1984.
