      55gr. FMJBT

^^^^^^^ Early December I was watching everglades site and they were $85 per 1000 shipped. When I finally got ready to order they were out. Got on the list and received the email to see they were now around $260 shipped. What a joke.

      Those who roll their own!

I've been doing a lot of sizing for sure! It sounds like you almost have to check these places on an hourly basis.

      .223 varmint rounds

55 fmj will go straight thru... Some people even think its in humane to shoot an animal with a fmj. The vmax will open up when it hits and probably come apart. I skinned one out shot with one that had probably 4 or 5 holes in it from the bullet fragmenting. I love to shoot the 40 gr vmax that I...

      Those who roll their own!

I know what you mean on primers. I've been stocking up on small rifle primers for awhile. I only load 40 s&w for pistol and I have plenty for it. I just can't find 55 fmj any longer. Thanks

      Case Tumbler and Scale Advice

I bought all my stuff off ebay to get started. Lyman 1200 (I think) and a ohaus 505 balance beam scale. I've since upgraded to a digital scale by rcbs and the tumbler has just about seen its last days... I'm actually in the process of starting to make a tumbler. Motor, two parallel shafts and a...

      .223 varmint rounds

I agree with sloughfoot. Hornady 55 gr vmax is good (I load some 40 gr vmax for them as well). Not sure, crackshot in Anderson may have some? If not, I'm sure someone has it online. Midway, Natchez, etc...

      Those who roll their own!

I'm sure this topic has been beat to death, but... Just wanted to see how many out there are on dozens of email waiting lists... I bet I'm on over 10 waiting lists for 223 projectiles & 223 brass. Andrew has kept me stocked in powder and some primers (before December), but everything else is...

      Help educate the slow kid

7.62 x 39 would be the easiest I think off the shelf. It's been a couple weeks ago, but walmart in Anderson said they had 50,000 rounds of it in stock. Probaby gone now though.
