      Irish lion pub in Bloomington

      The Irish Lion is good and they have an ok beer list. I would suggest hitting the Lion and then one of the other places around the square. Function brewery is about a block away. Tap is a half block away and they have a hugh beer selection.

      I also like the Ruger SR 22 for the fun factor. I have several 22s (mk II, Buckmark, ChallengerII, S&W 41, GSG 1911) and they are all good guns but you get a lot of bang for the buck in SR 22.       Lever gun

      An older Marlin or Winchester in30-30 would be the way I would go. If you find one with the birch stock they are usually affordable. If you ever get to Michigan or Kentucky you can possibility find one for $250 - $300.
