I am more impressed with the clean bench. Mine hasn't been that clean in over a decade. I don't think it was that clean when I built it.
BTW just my 2 cents. If the bench is not already bolted down, screw a 1x6 (or maybe a 1x4) to the back. It will keep stuff from falling off the back.
Has anyone heard of people being prosecuted for mis scans around here? The news has shown the Popo doing a door knock for mis scanning items. They watch you with the cameras and get your info from your card and license plate in the lot.
I don't use the self scans. I always have a problem. If...
The local Meijer has taken most of the regular checkouts out and replaced them with rows of self checkouts. Only one cashier left..... With a long line.
I would agree. For some items (usually used) there is practically no other option. I do a lot of repairs on older things. Some items I go to Amazon. They are just as bad. FB marketplace is another. Those 3 just seem to have a corner on the market.
I have been using ebay for a Long time. I will do a search for a particular item, like a particular cell phone. I will open up a few windows with several ones I want to look over. Nothing catches my eye and I will close them out. No problem. Lately I am getting offers from people selling the...
Do you have an email address for them? I have not heard about contacting the FBI. Years ago I did contact my senator and worked out well. (The ATF lost checks and paperwork, several times.)
I think they can make mistakes, everyone does. But I look at it this way, If you power is cut off in error for non payment, they send a signal down a computer and kill your power, a phone call can get it turned back on. If they send a guy out to disconnect your power, good luck getting that...
This is ridiculous. I am usually pretty patient, especially with ATF waiting. People are getting turn arounds in days. My individual Eform4 is at 180 days. Since November. I hate to bother the dealer. I have also heard of dealers not getting notified of approvals. They sign in and just find them...
It sounds like the stuff I posted about. Do you know of any place that shows it online with prices? I would be curious how the price compares to flat steel ( rolled and barn style) and shingles.
Also it sounds like that lays flat on the roof, but the barn style needs purlins to true the roof...
Most of the metal roofs here are barn (exposed screw) roofs. The metal seems to last, but the rubber washer screws do not. Recommended to replace screws ever 15 years. Paint seems to look bad after 15-20 years. Standing seam roofs look better and last longer, but they are a lot more expensive...
