      So your saying the small parts in the lower tang don't swap over ? I feel I have changed out some of those parts in the past. But not sure if any or all are the same parts are the same ... also I think my plan will be to buy a complete rifle and switch the lower tang ,stock,forend, and lever ...

      I was talking to a guy at the local show last weekend and we got to talking about marlin curved or pistol grip lever guns and straight stocked marlins ... he said he Remembers years back that they would change a few parts and you could swap back and forth from straight or curved ... anyone know...

I took it back apart then assembles the hammer and trigger outside of the gun I found the bottom notch on the hammer was rounded off or slightly slanted to the outside which was letting the sear drop off very very easily....       I have recently obtained a 1957 winchester 94 in 30-30 ... the trigger is super super light when it catches ... most of the time if you work the action the hammer doesn't stay cooked... and when it does stay cooked you can tap the buttstock with your hand and it fires ....
