Surefire 7.62s fit on their qd 7.62 mounts and their qd 5.56 mounts. 5.56 will not fit on their 7.62
IMO there is nothing wrong with setting up your rifle for the most common ammo found. there is also nothing wrong with setting up a rifle for a specialized purpose. Rifles are packages. Ammo, barrel length and twist, optics and the rifle as a whole have to be planned out together.
So it's a bronze rifle that was painted black? I mean.. if you like it.. but why are the raised areas that would be worn off be the lighter bronze when the darker color is what it would be assumed the rifle is painted? is there a reason behind this?
