WHAT: I'm looking for a bolt - action in a readily available caliber. With a scope mount or rail. Not interested in .22LR
LOCATION: I'm located in South Bend, willing to travel the general Michiana area.
PRICE: I'm on a budget, so ideally something around $500.
We had a decent turn out of ~10, so thanks to those that came! And for being civil, despite a father crassly thinking lesser of us. Other than that father, I talked to two of the opposition; they got a bit emotional and didn't make a ton of sense. Two people driving by asked what was happening...
Of course. Unfortunately some see any non-soldier, policeman, etc carrying a scary-looking (to them) rifle as the end of the world, and would see us as monsters. As a handgun is the most practical firearm for people that wish to arm themselves as they go about their daily business, I'd rather...
Is there an online list of these reporters, or do you personally know them? I just set up the South Bend demonstration:

And it's INGO topic...
There's a nationwide gun control demonstration March 24th, so like jmpupillo organized in Valparaiso, I'm organizing a South Bend counterprotest:

We need all the support we can get, so please follow the link for more details and attend it...
I FB messaged them yesterday and haven't heard anything yet, so I just might set up a FB event for South Bend soon.
I agree. That being said, I don't see a problem someone open carrying a sidearm if they are dressed normally (i.e. no tactical gear). Antigunners will exploit us even if no one...
I was planning on doing something similar for the downtown South Bend one. Have you contacted the ISRPA if they had any plans? I was about to on Facebook:

I could have sworn this site had a list somewhere of active gun groups in Indiana, but I can't find it. Is there one? Or a website that'd have something like that?
I really want to get involved, especially with the upcoming antigun "March For Our Lives" nationwide on March 24th.
