Les Baer, Ed Born, Wilson Combat or other

A friend of mine Joe owns one. The guy love the thing. He’s got a bunch of videos on youtube talking about them as well.

Les Baer, Ed Born, Wilson Combat or other

Unless you’re already a client of Burton, his books are closed. BTW, the last Burton gat I saw for sale sold for $24,500.

Les Baer, Ed Born, Wilson Combat or other

I would look at a used Baer and send it to Mark Graff. All a Baer needs is some soften edges and light work for it to be top tier. In terms of a Brown being better fit. I disagree, the blending might be better, but it’s not fit better. Before Graff: After Graff work

      Original Bob Marvel NH Prototype

Some presentation grade smooth walnut grips. I have em in my “box of grips”, but I prefer grips with texture for shooting.

      Original Bob Marvel NH Prototype

As a lot of you know I have a pretty nice collection of original Bob Marvel guns! I found this one years ago and the owner finally agreed to sell me it. It’s documented with paper work from Bob that this is the first of three guns that Bob Designed that Nighthawk modeled their “Bob Marvel”...

      1911 Recommendations?

I would be looking at a Dan Wesson or a used Les Baer. Both can be had for around $1500. The classifieds over on 1911addicts.com is where I’d direct you to (don’t break the rules, make sure you read them first). It’s surely the best place on the net for what you seek.

Alchemy 1911 - Custom Combat Limited

The fact that Greg Derr is on this list makes it a totally irrelevant one. Chuck Rogers and Ned Christiansen are not even in the guild. I know a bunch of the guys who are, and it’s a nice “club” to be in. That said, I put 0 stock in it.

A Black Knight is born…. (Pinstriper). Lots of pics!

I don’t have much time as life and work have me completely bogged down (have been slammed for the last 8 months). That said, I wanted to share pics as this pistol is a really special one to me. This is the first custom gun I ever ordered… literally this is the custom that got me into customs...

WTS: Hodge 13” wedge lock rail

Probably a long shot, but figured I would post to see if anyone had one. I have an OG restricted Mod1 and it’s misssing the wedge lock rail. I would prefer a 13” if I were to pick! Let me know if you’re holding.

      Flat-Faced Triggers

Although I like a curved trigger… I prefer a flat trigger over a curved. A Rogers Precision semi-flat trigger is my all time favorite though!! Pics for illustration! Curved: Flat: Rogers semi-flat
