      Good hiking boots?

      backpacking tent

      Have you ever thought about a hammock. They are small/light-weight, comfortable and small. I use a Hennessy Hammock Ultralite backpacker and love it.

      Fluid fun does a couple of blemished boats that you can get for cheap and right now I bet they are selling boats cheaper as the season is ending.

      I'll will be using a Bowtech Tribute for archery season and an 870 for shotgun season.

      Kayaks If you are not too far ( I see you are in NWI) check out Fluid Fun in Bristol, IN. Kayak and Canoe sales in Bristol Indiana at Fluid Fun. They are great and can get you set up for what every you want and are relatively reasonable.

      Overnight Whitewater Rafting Trip Recommendations

      Rafting The New river and the Gauley are completely awesome. Its only around 9 hours from Northern Indiana or around 7 from the Indy area. Definitely worth the wait.

      Mtbr Where are you located? Brown County has a very nice trial if you are more southern. If you are more northern check out Fort Custer in Michigan.

      What are you using this deer season???

      I'll be using a Bowtech Tribute with Rage broadheads on Easton xx78 for archery season. For shotgun I'll be using a Remington 870 20 guage.

      Just wondering if there are any backpackers here on INGO? If so, do you guys know of any good local hikes? By local, I mean no more than a 5-6 hour drive. I'm more interested in 3-4 day hikes. I've backpacked a lot of places out east but driving 12+ hours gets really old. Thanks for your time! CZ
