What do you think is the best......
With proper ammo selection this simply isn't true. Assuming your shotgun is loaded with a good SD round.

What's your opinion on a shotgun for home defense
From a stationary position I'd certainly prefer it over a handgun. Then again I'd take my AR first. (no it's not over penetrative with good ammo)
