      Jens Parsson wrote a book called "The Dying of Money," and people in Weimar Germany who did best took a HUGE amount of debt just as the hyperinflation started. But the thing they did was buy tangible goods. After the hyperinflation they could sell a millionth of what they had bought and pay off...

      What have you done this week to prep?

      I've been adding toilet paper, water, and ammunition. We're pretty good on many things, and we have a little homestead. But imagine being without TP.

      Has Seattle said what they will do with people mail ordering into the city? And don't they know that a WHOLE lot more businesses will pop up just outside the city limits? Ever see those borderline fireworks or lottery stands?

      Who's got chickens? Talk a noob into it or out of it.

      We are still behind on costs after two years, but we're getting closer with $3 a dozen eggs. But the best reason to have chickens is that the kids learn how to take care of something....and the eggs taste a whole lot better. Not to mention the chicken itself if you do meat birds.

      OK, any of these individuals is better than Hillary. But when did we start looking for the cleanest dirty shirt instead of someone like Thomas Jefferson?

      Should drugs be legalized ?

      We've done as well at the war on drugs as we have the war on terror or the war on poverty. Why not declare it a loss and legalize? It helped Colorado's economy when they legalized pot, in a demonstrable, statistically significant way.

      I've left the range forgetting stuff. I end up with magazines in a friend's range bag instead of my own....way too often.
