      Ruger releases the SR1911 in 9mm! :)

I can honestly say, I get excited about every gun they release! The SR1911 9mm looks slick with the grey frame and black grip panels.

What's your favorite YouTube gun channel?

I thought of one that I didn't see in the several pages I scrolled through so I guess I'll have to add my $0.02! InstructorZero is the channel I'm referring to. I think his videos are pretty cool, despite having trouble understanding him sometimes. I also think some of his ideas and videos are...

A great reference for what gun shop employees go through on a daily basis

My firearm sales experience has all been within the last 3 years. I do agree some of it is worded differently there than I've encountered at the gun counter. However, the concept and slang is very similar. In the original post I said I thought they were being pretty nice about their complaints...

A great reference for what gun shop employees go through on a daily basis

I've seen several threads and posts about how rude employees at gun stores are and how offended people have felt because of those employees. I am in no way defending any customer service associate with a bad attitude who is unwilling to help their customers. I just happened to stumble upon this...

Any electrical people?? Help... Old GE motor wiring

It had some kind of thin string wrapped around it but i took it off to take the tape off the connection points for the internally wrapped copper wire. Do you know if this is needed?

Any electrical people?? Help... Old GE motor wiring

Thank you everyone! This is all the information I haven't been able to find, and of course I thought I was done with the project just in time for things to go wrong! Also, a powder coat would've been an awesome idea that I didn't think of. Under that awful house paint, was an even coat of...

Any electrical people?? Help... Old GE motor wiring

Also, if anyone is interested, here is a before and mostly after picture of the saw.

Any electrical people?? Help... Old GE motor wiring

Thank you for your responses! I just posted pictures to the original post. The inside wiring definitely has some kind of double layered thermal sleeve. Its like sticky and soft on the inside and woven on the outside. Everything is so old its literally falling apart, probably doesn't help that I...

Any electrical people?? Help... Old GE motor wiring

I don't mean circuit board.. Whatever all the wiring connects to inside the motor... I obviously have no clue what I'm talking about. When I tried to look up the model number I found absolutely nothing. Also, all the wiring has black protectant. None of it is color coded

Any electrical people?? Help... Old GE motor wiring

I bought a Craftsman band saw from a garage sale. It's from the 50's and was being powered by a possibly even older GE electric motor. I've redone both the band saw and motor, except for the wiring. It's ancient and falling apart as I'm trying to reassemble things. First of all, the wiring for...

      Mossberg Night Train Patriot?

In my opinion, the bolts feel really sloppy on the Mossberg bolt action rifles. I've worked with guns and have handled a lot of them, but haven't fired them. For a budget rifle, I'd recommend the Ruger American line like throttletony said. They have amazing reviews and an amazing lineup offering...

Ruger American Predator in .308 or .300BLK?

I don't believe there is such thing as a Ruger American Predator in 300 blackout. Do you mean the Ruger American Ranch? I don't ask to sound like a snob, I just thought I'd be sure to shed light on the fact that the Predator and Ranch models have a couple very large differences to take into...

Noblesville Cabela's used gun salesman is full os S###!

I've commented on a post or two very similar to this one. Speaking from my experience working as a salesman for two different gun stores; one is Gander Mountain, the other is an "LGS". We're talking about part time employee's here, Cabelas might have one full time non-manager employee for...

      .32 CALIBER S&W SHORT QUESTION......

I believe .32 "Short" came from there being a .32 Long later on. It started out as .32 S&W and they should be the same. I believe ZX Gun in Fort Wayne stocks it, I don't know how regularly they do. But either location should be able to order it for you.
