      Only in Sin City...

Check the videos on this website for this place. It's kind of a cross between IDPA and Paintball. Would be worth checking out next time in Las Vegas. https://lvgunfights.com/

      AR Gas Block/Tube Questions

One thing that I have done is to take a milspec front sight and cut off the sight tower and bayonette lug, ground them smooth and then paint with black header paint. The handguard covered the gas block and was not noticable. Pinned gas blocks don't move unlike some set screw units. I have...

      Need digital scale advice

Sounds like you may have possibly had a bad scale. It happens to every manufacturer. If you hadn't already purchased a scale, I would highly suggest the RCBS Chargemaster.

      .223 match reloading

When working up a load, make sure you are using quality brass that is prepped, the right bullets and powder and primers for the right job. Check for neck and bullet runout as you load. Non-concentric loaded ammo is going to cause fliers. You can't figure out what load works for your rifle when...

      .223 match reloading

When working up a load, use proven componets that are proven to work well together. Make sure you you aren't torquing the barrel on a non-free float barrel with the sling.

      .223 match reloading

55FMJ is really going to frustrate you. Go with something proven. http://precision.whiteoakarmament.com/info-reloading.html

Suggestions and opinions on an optic.

If costisnt a factor, go with a NightForce. I have one on my F-Class rifle and its worth the extra money over Leupold.

      Reloading 223 for ar platform

For just general shooting I would start with the Hornady dies. One nice thing with the Hornady over the Lee is they use steel and not aluminum. Also the Hornady seating die has a floating bullet sleeve that is more likely to get the bullet in the case straight. I've had all of them and like the...

      electronic powder dispensers

I looked at numerous forums and comments from many users before buying my RCBS. The RCBS has a good following as well as numerous little tweaks that can be done to personalize the dispenser to meet your needs. The RCBS is a little more expensive than some others but having learned the hard way...

      Reloading organization

I have a dedicated room in my basement that is only used by me for reloading and other gun stuff. Things are usually quite organized but every once in a while... Yesterday I began to clean things up to get ready to load ammo for the upcoming season. I found a primer tube full of small primers...

      Storing Handloads

My preference has always been to store reloads in plastic 20, 50 or 100 round boxes. Each box is labeled with blue 3M painters tape (easy to remove and replace later). Each label has Date loaded, Case brand (times loaded for rifle), Primer, Powder brand and weight, Bullet brand/weight/style...

      To cam over, or not?

I started reloading 27 years ago and I too looked at cam over as another variable to explore. Consistency in everything is the key for the best ammunition. Camming over creates consistency in ram travel for every reloading process involving the reloading press. The degree of cam over does not...

      Where's the best reloading deals?

If you live in central Indiana I would check out Atterbury Shooting Complex.
