Southern Indiana Rifle & Pistol Club, just south of Bordon, In. shoots up to 500 yards, but its a private club. And what i think is the best club in south In. is Livonia Conservation Club, private also. You can only shoot up to 300 yards, but they have nice covered benches and hold ARA & PSL...
When God created us in His image, we were made to live in Heaven. I don't think any of us will understand why some go there at such a young age...until we get there ourselfs. Praying for comfort and understanding:)
I have found that if people ask if its worth their time usually it is not. I do it mostly for the increased accuracy. If you look at the pics on the first page of the link that shibumiseeker posted you can see the necks of the cases are black from not making a good seal. Anytime your loseing...
Sounds like more of a diameter problem than a weight problem. Have you measured any of them? If you do measure them check the diameter in more than one spot. Good luck and let us know what you find.
Are you sure you don't have this scope 6.5x20x44 Vortex Optics - Viper 6.5-20x44 PA V-Plex Wide
It shows that it has a total of 65 moa elevation...so like others have said you may have a 30 moa base, even so you should still be ok. What everyone is not telling you is if you have to move you...
I get your need to use stats. But your missing the point behind why most guys measure groups. Why? Because if you shoot 100 shot groups with some larger calibers you could ruin the barrel from overheating for one reason.
When i shoot groups its usually to test ammo...no need to shoot more than...
You can not over stabilize a bullet. The problem with shooting light bullets in fast twist barrels, are light bullets are normally varmint bullets with thin jackets that can literally fly apart when they exit the barrel from over rotation. You could shoot a copper solid 35gr. bullet out of a 1/7...
I am a believer of Cryogenically treated barrels. But in my IMHO it can't make an average barrel great. If accuracy was my goal i would buy a barrel from a manufacturer that is known for accuracy like Lilja Lilja Precision Rifle Barrels - 50 Caliber Precision Barrels or Krieger DCM & AR-15 just...
I have shot factory loads into the dirt, just to have empty brass to reload. Sad to think that their are people carrying Guns that do not understand reloading.
Just about any public land will do for crow hunting. I like to go early mornings, and i tend to move around more than alot of people do. The reason i call from different places, is because if your not hearing crows most likely there are none close enough to hear you. Good camo and a good place...
The problem with getting a gun wet is water in and around the fireing pin causing light primer strikes. If your useing modern ammo you don't have to worry about it getting wet...Sloughfoot done a test soaking a wide assortment of ammo.
