      Hobbyist gunsmithing??

Soooooo when I had the subject as "HOBBYIST gunsmith" i wasn't thinking $20k in milling and machining tools. Lol!!! I've seen the Starrett brand. I have looked into classes and such, but was thinking YouTube university until I get more engaged in gunsmithing... EDIT: I just read what 92FSTech...

      An HK thing

Sooo regarding ammo for the VP9 Tactical, is there any type that should be used more than another?? 115 grain? 124 grain? I hear it eats everything, which is great, but if it 'prefers' something specific, I'd like to know.......

      Hobbyist gunsmithing??

So I've been thinking about this a while, but what would be a good "starting kit" for gunsmithing? ..... Short term: More than field striping a gun. Replacing sights. Building a P80 Glock Long term: Build a 1911 AR15 I know a punch kit of sorts is needed, ball peen hammer, vise is good, and...

      An HK thing

Well, I may have made a mistake with my trade, but I traded an AR I haven't shot in years for a VP9 Tactical.... oh it feels good in hand. I can't wait to get it to the range. SO nice!!

      To the mom's here....

I'll look into if Highsmiths has that. Indy Arms Company has a class and chapter there that I was going to try and get her to.... but Highsmiths is way closer and may be easier for her; because smaller class size. I never considered looking at videos, but Lena Miculek would be a good one to...

      To the mom's here....

@MCgrease08 Wow. Thanks for the gut check. You took a lot of time with your input. I truly appreciate it and I've been contemplating a lot since I saw this last night and definitely realized some conclusions and concepts I've rushed to apply. I will say, my wife has shot my Shield before and...

      To the mom's here....

I'll have to look into an insert. I like that idea.... WAY more discreet than some of the bags I'm finding. Although, some are pretty nice too! More than the gun getting stolen, her worry with her purse getting grabbed is the criminal could use the gun on her and take the kids (or other crime).

      To the mom's here....

So I had a chat with the Mrs last night about her starting to CCW. She agreed to it, and in regard to carrying in a purse, she has reasonable concerns with it getting snatched and thus her gun would be gone. Thankfully she wears her purse crossbody which helps, and she also has her head on a...

      EDC Fixed Blades

Ummm.... I was referencing the picture more than the specs. The pic is of a MINI socp.... which the blade is small. My bad

      EDC Fixed Blades

That's sleek, but the blade of the Benchmade is closer to 4cm not 4"... hehe. :P If it's for self defense, it looks perfect. I'm actually looking into it for that reason and that it's small so I say thank you for this option. Haha!!
