      I've been meaning to post about this for awhile, but life has intervened. Rob377, you were absolutely right. It was the recoil spring. Turned that puppy around and it has worked like a charm ever since. Thanks!

      Four or five years ago, I bought a Sig P229. At the time, I was dating a guy who had a P228, which is basically the same gun, and I enjoyed it. I could shoot well with it and it never jammed. Of course, I could have bought a much less expensive gun than the P229, which I have to admit is also...
