Lebel 1886 Rifle... need some insight
So I recently helping to clean out my late uncle's workshop and happened upon this rifle... 5 minutes of research on the web later. I believe I'm looking at a Lebel 1886 Rifle. Beyond that I assume my late uncle brought it home from his time over seas in WWII I know very little of the unit... -

Son's 1st rod n reel... suggestions fellow dad's or granddads
I basically had the same school of thought and personal experience myself. I was considering an ultra light rod/reel combo for him. Easier in size for him I figured and can still put a tried and true reel that should last a lifetime barring any catastrophes being carried to and from the water.- manley82

Looking for suggestions... Decision time my son got out with his grandpa and dad and hooked a few bluegill and has the fever. Now dad needs to set him up with his own gear. Do i follow commercialism and get the "Disney" kids rod or step up and a get a more "professional" pole that should...- manley82

Who's ready to go fishing???
Took my 4 yr old son out with his "Papaw" today and he got his 1st (3) bluegill and joined the ranks of grand kids whose fished with grandpa and has pictures for life... and one satisfied grandpa too. Good day- manley82
