These people may be criminal scum, but dang if they aren't talented scum :)
First up, something that happened in the last day - a group of thieves broke into a currency repository in Sweden with a stolen helicopter, dynamite, and a well-placed fake bomb in the police helicopter hanger that kept...
I'd be up for it if I don't have any conflicts with the date. My schedule is sporadic and varying with the odd jobs I do in the evenings, so don't plan around me, but I'll try to attend if I've got the evening free :)
I realized the thread was started a few months ago, but this is a somewhat general, not about Wolverine itself. You should stay after the credits for any comic book type movie. 90% of the time they'll have some little tidbit afterward - tie up some loose plot point, teaser for the next movie...
Part of the "send it and it comes back" part of space exploration is a 100% expectation of the astronaut returning, which adds a significant technological barrier. We currently have the technology to send someone to Mars, IF they aren't expecting a return trip. We also have capable people...
This is relatively common at colleges, although they did do it for an impressively low price. One of my engineering classes did a similar balloon launch. The individual payloads were cheap ($5 worth of foam and foil for an insulated box, plus whatever electronics the experimenter installed), but...
Knocked on a couple of doors, no one answered, then I went inside to write a note to stick on their window and they'd moved the car before I could get back outside - I'm guessing they were waiting till I was out of view to move it so they didn't have to talk to me.
This time they weren't nearly...
A neighbor parked behind my apartment's garage again, I can't get my car out to get to work, and I don't know which one it is since there's so many nearby units. Second time it's happened in the last couple of months. I really need to get a security camera and set it up pointing at my parking...

Might appeal more to the younger crowd, but a few of these had me cracking up :)
My favorite: "The letters T and G are very close to each other on a keyboard. This recently became all too apparent to me and consequently I will...
I recall reading a story a few days ago about a man who was seriously injured under similar circumstances. Apparently, he passed gas mid-surgery, and something ignited the methane. I wouldn't be surprised if they withheld such information in this case, seeing as the person in question was a woman.
He's from the district with Bloomington in it, and he's a Democrat. Bloomington had pretty high turnout of Democrats due to the makeup of the city and the excitement over Obama. He'd been kicked out before, and apparently proved himself to be a [forum censored word] in the process after throwing...
If I read it correctly, they're wanting it to be a congestion charge - charge you extra for heavily used roadways at busy times of day. To do that, they have to know you were there.
It should be noted that I'm not trying to be antagonistic in any way, I'm actually kinda curious about working this out - the train thing is a general opinion I've held for a while, and if I'm wrong, I would rather know :)
Remember damage caused is a power function. Even if you use per tire...
That makes sense. I figured there had to have been something else there at one point to have a bunch of nice parallel lines like that. Train tracks would fit.
This is entirely a digression from the topic at hand, but since the point of the thread seems to be satisfied, I don't feel too guilty in doing this :)
Anyone know why the parking lot has those weird stripes in the satellite picture? Is it drainage, or what?
