Any one know of a Garand safe 30’06 hunting cartridge? Most of the commercial stuff is too hot.
I’m not a hand loader but would like to freezer a deer next year with my Dad’s Garand.
A general reply to anyone who has questions about going to their first match....
#1 Do you have an appropriate firearm for the match and a safe holster/sling?
#2 Do you have enough ammo for the round count?
If the answer is yes to both, email the match director or the OP of the match...
Looking for hunting permission in Central Indiana...within an hour of 465. Could just be myself along with my children...11 year old son, 9 year old daughter. Long time hunter. We are originally from up north, and it’s hard to get them involved when it’s a 2.5 to 3hr drive to the family farms...
Lot of construction on NW side of indy on 465 and 65. Might be something to keep in mind if you are driving thru in the AM. I beleive NB 65 is closing tonight between 465 and Zville.

Havent shot on this range since my last class with Pat, but for those of you from out of town....Range is close off I65. All grass surface unless that has changed recently. Range is right behind jail. Subway might be closest eats, but a lot is accessible near 65. Lots of hotel options inside...
Plus 100 on credit unions. We moved from Chase to Elements Financial (credit union, used to be Eli Lily Federal Credit Union..but anyone can join) a few years back. We love it. If you are in Indy metro I highly recommend.
As a teacher at a large Indiana metro school I support this. As a parent, I support this. Coach, I would guess we have some mutual acquaintances...would love to know how I could be of practical support.
