Gee, you mean like a bunch of AR pistol owners contacting BATFE to ask for clarification of their pistol status when they shoulder their Sig arm braces?
You'll notice that your post count now reads 50. I took care of that for you. You're welcome.
As for that Gen2 G19, I never heard back from him AND I now see that the thread is marked CLOSED. Not sure what's up with that.
Anyway, you are now an official Site Supporter and can buy and sell...
Let's complicate things a little, just for fun ...
An INGO buddy spies a just-gotta-have-it Hi-Point that is advertised in the Classifieds. Buddy is an INGO member and not legally restricted in any way from buying his own guns, but has to work and wants me to go look at it for him before...
Welcome to INGO! And +1 regarding training. Find someone good to teach you what you don't know about carrying a pistol and how to safely and effectively manipulate it. What you think you know and don't will truly amaze you ... because I've been there.
Again, WELCOME! :ingo:
But what about if I want to carry around my ol' cap-n-ball revolver that my grandpappy gave me? I gotta have a license (note the proper spelling)?
Good first post. The remaining 17 individual posts cause me to wonder what you might be looking at in the classifieds ...
Not far off -- the plane is an RV, after all. And I am old. :):
And, coincidentally, I stumbled upon someone else using "N8RV" as a moniker, and his name is indeed Nate. He's more into music than airplanes and guns.
N8RV.
It's the tail number of my plane. US-registered planes all start with "N," and the plane's model designation is an RV-8, so I managed to finagle N8RV from the FAA.
However, ham operators often think that I'm one of them, because I found out that "N8RV" is also a repeater down in WV...
I considered it a great honor to attend Noob Day. I not only got to fiddle with stuff I'll never own, but met good people and ended up buying three cans from Profire! The only downside is that now I no longer qualify for Noob Day, and I don't own anything impressive to share on Veterans' Day...
There isn't any skydiving going on at Mishawaka Pilots Club that I know of, and I've had a hangar there for about 25 years. Goshen had a drop zone for a while, but I haven't heard of any activity there for a few years.
As a follow-up, I had LASIK last week and put it to the test yesterday in an Urban Rifle class. My only glasses were some old, yellow shooting glasses that I thankfully remembered to toss into my range bag. I ran an AR pistol with an EOTech EXP3 on it. The only time I had any trouble was...
Robby, like others have mentioned, I had a special pair of shooting glasses made specifically for pistol accuracy -- dominant eye focused at 25" and my non-dominant lens is progressive. It only takes a few seconds of weirdness for my brain to catch up, then I'm good to go.
However, a week from...
I'll second that. Several years ago, I bought a former South Bend PD Harley Road King -- black and white. No red/blue lights, no POLICE markings ... but with my black leather jacket and white half-helmet with a shiny Harley Davidson sticker smack on the front of it, anytime I pulled out into...
I had to scroll back to the beginning of last year to find my original post where I decided to order one of these belts. I've worn it daily since it showed up, and it's still as good as new. The freakin' thing is indestructible!
