Yeah it sounded good on paper.

I don’t mean to pile on, but the most disappointing handgun I have ever shot was a Keltec P-3AT. Jams, jams, and more jams. Years later, I discovered Nutnfancy’s YouTube videos and found him to be informative and interesting - most of the time. What really puzzled me was his constant...

      .380 for my new LCPII

Happy Resurrection Day! Regarding your question, it seems that while .380 will never be the equivalent of the larger calibers, it can be an effective round. However, based on the testing that I have seen online, ammo choice is more critical in this caliber than in the others. I think the...

most accurate ammo for Springfield XDM subcompact

I haven’t shot the XDM, but I have experience with the M&P Shield 9. In it, the standard pressure 147 grain HST is quite accurate. Recoil is subjective, of course, but I find the 147 to be very pleasant to shoot.

For $800 You Can Buy This Beauty...

That term “Sarakote” made my evening - I will never think of coatings the same way again. Whatever he put on that gun came out of a spray can that is available for less than $5 per can.

That finish looks more like Rustoleum than Cerakote.

Business listing -- North Central Indiana Gun Shop and Shooting Range For Sale

It is very common to not name the business, because public disclosure of the owner’s plan to sell can cause employee issues (i.e. they may be loyal to the current owner and feel betrayed if he sells. As a result, they might leave if a sale is imminent, thereby harming the business). It can...

Was anyone else lied to in their high school Government class?

It’s been a long, long time ago, but I took government in rural Georgia. The school had a tendency to use football coaches to teach government and history classes. The coach was a great guy and popular because he drove a Corvette, but it is quite a stretch to refer to him as anything...

      Reviews truthful ones

Regarding YouTube gun reviewers, I think Nutnfancy seems pretty objective - he openly criticizes items that do not perform. Many people complain about him for various reasons - length of videos, etc. However, I find him to be entertaining. Also, the range of products he reviews sets him apart...

      WTS/WTT: Ruger LCR 357 Mag - Evansville - $425 OBO/Trade

Ruger LCR 357 Mag - Evansville - $375 OBO/Trade TRADE PENDING. I purchased this LCR 357 new. I have owned a few LCR's in 357 over the years, and it has become clear to me (finally) that I shoot semi-auto pistols better than small revolvers, especially in 357 mag. That is unfortunate, because...

      Ruger P89 vs Ruger P95

I have experience with the P95 and have a close friend who had a P89 for many years. Both were very reliable and built well. However, a couple of year ago I purchased another used P95. After a field strip, I noticed it was missing a part. If memory serves, it was some sort of retaining clip...
