      The Smith 5906 is one of the best semiauto pistols they ever made. I have handled and shot one. Excellent gun and you can get used ones for very good prices.

      I just ordered a Repro PU Sniper from SOG for $359 plus shipping. I wouldnt pay $900 for a "real" PU unless you have money to burn or want it as a collector piece. I bought mine to shoot.       What was your worst handgun purchase?

      Taurus Model 94, .22lr revolver. Worst trigger ever made. Taurus Mil Pro PT 140. Never shot straight and mag fell out whenever it felt like it.

      Had a HiPoint .45. Actually a great gun. Never failed and very accurate. I dont know where you work, but where I live armed always pays more than unarmed. But both suck, however. Plus I dont go anywhere unless I am armed.
