It's down quite a bit today, much different than earlier in the week. not quite normal but getting close, though it may not last with the forecast.
(I live not far from the 116th landing)
we regularly kayak from potter's bridge down to 116th or Oliver's Woods (may even go tomorrow for the first time this spring) but rarely wet a line so far.
If you do go thru Glenwood Canyon, stop at the Hanging Lake trailhead right on I-70 and take the short 1 miles hike (albeit 1 mile straight up!). It's well worth it!
Born and raised in CO - my grandparents lived in a cabin outside Alma at the base of Hoosier Pass.
If you're out there in July, Fairplay (aka "South Park City") has Burro Days and races where you run from Fariplay over the pass to Leadville, but the catch is you're leading a burro the whole...
+1 on Maddie Moos in Mechanicsburg (just south of Anderson). It's a bit of a drive, but you've got an excuse to swing by Belgian Horse Winery since you're in the neighborhood.
Got a Black's Creek DoubleBull Wild Thing Pack (Link) for hauling your popup blind and all your accessories for deer or turkey. Probably only used twice, looks brand new.
Asking $120

Should be in KS chasing ditch pigeons again, but my GPS tore up her knee chasing woodcock & grouse in the UP, so she's spending the pheasant/holiday season in a post-op Cone Of Shame :crying:
I ran my GSP for a coworker and his son & buddy (all newbies) at Royal Flush out near Rockville/Mecca the week before Christmas. All had a great time.
There's Buck Creek up near Muncie too - never been there, so can't comment on it.
kids outgrew this and it's been sitting in the safe for 10+ years. Time to become a Christmas present for the next generation
$150 in NE Indy.
I think we've got a cheap clear 25 round mag too, if I can find it.
as a former resident, I can tell you that's just '"calm to light breeze".
I got a lifetime license before getting transplanted here and go back every year to chase ditch pigeons and, when I can swing it, stay extra to spot-n-stalk mulies with my bow - one of the most extreme adrenaline highs...
