size then cut, or cut then size

5.56/.223 brass is approximately 1.76" long and 300 blk / 300 W is approximately 1.36" long so there is about .4" of brass to remove from each case. It can be done entirely with a case trimmer but I've found it's quicker and easier to cut off most of the excess brass and then finish with the...

size then cut, or cut then size

Size then rough cut slightly long with a small tubing cutter and finish with your case trimmer.

Anyone know what happened to the Michiana Gun Exchange facbook group?

You've got it straight. I'm a retired carpenter and what little I know about computers I've taught myself. I haven't been able to get ImageShack or similar services to work reliably.

Anyone know what happened to the Michiana Gun Exchange facbook group?

Michiana Gun Exchange didn't seem to require pictures for items listed for sale. I was a member for only about a week before they went dark so maybe I just hadn't found that requirement (if one existed). I have trouble posting pictures on forums so being able list items without pics would have...

Anyone know what happened to the Michiana Gun Exchange facbook group?

Not completely anti-gun. Locally, both Midwest stores and Kodiak have fb pages and there is a huge number of gun related fb pages from all over the country. Facebook might not like gun sales or trades being made on their pages as that could lead to law suits from the gun grabbers.

      CNN gun control poll

I tried to access the poll using links from 3 different sources and they all went to a page with a blank area where the poll is supposed to be. Did they shut the poll down because it was going against their agenda?

      whos going

I saw an ad that said this show would be in the South Pavilion and then I got my discount post card from the promoters and it says the show will be in the Expo Building. Which one is correct ?

      380 Loads ?

If you cast your own check Ranchdog's .380 mold and his load recipes.(www.ranchdogoutdoors.com) All of the loads I've tried from his list with his bullet with the powders I have available have worked well.

      Tumbling Question

You can use a "universal depriming die" which doesn't touch the brass to remove the old primers before tumbling and your primer pockets will be cleaner but you will have to dig tumbling media out of most of those pockets. Or you can tumble first, remove the primers and then clean the pockets...

Lee Turret Press, good for beginners?

I bought a Lee 3 hole turret in the early 90's and a 4 hole turret when they became available. Both presses have worked perfectly with 23 die sets ranging from .380 and .22 Hornet up to .45-70. I agree with all of the positive Lee recommendations above.

Best place to buy bullets and powder LOCALLY?

Kempf Gun Shop in Michigan City usually has a good selection of reloading supplies and equipment.
