Anyone of you gunsmiths have experience turning a Thompson parts kit into a rifle or SBR? What is involved? I'm guessing it's more involved than my normal AR build. Thought I would ask before I sold or traded the one I have listed in the classifieds. I would love to have a tommy gun

If I go to one of the suggested attorneys and have a trust drafted this week... What happens? Does it have to be sent into the ATF and be approved? Or can I just use the trust info right away to E-file the form 1...
You're right M67 that is what I should do. Just seems like another PITA. I have other NFA stuff I'm sure I would have to transfer to the trust. I'll just mail in the form and wait like always. I appreciate the responses though! Nothing can ever just be easy with them.
