      I would say .17 Hornet. It is still hard to find any reasonably priced rimfire ammo.

      My 1914 doesn't like the aftermarket mags. You might want to look into getting an original mag.

      458 Socom Buttstock suggestions

      I have a 50 Beowulf and the a2 stock left a nice impression in my shoulder. What I did was took off the butt plate and sanded the stock flat and installed a Pachmayr recoil pad. This pretty much took care of the recoil, and I don't have a muzzle break on it.

      9mm in an AR platform

      I have one and it is great. If you shoot a lot it is cheap practice. I would recommend it especially if you shoot 9mm already.
