When I was a younger man, there were TC side lock black powder guns everywhere, now they command a premium (I HATE inline BP guns) Used to be $75 to $100 for one at pawnshops, and guns stores, I kick myself for passing up a left hand .54 TC Hawken years ago....$125.....aaaarrrrggggghhhh Those were shinin' times Bill Tyler.....*

With the entry level rifle market saturated, I would think TC to avoid such.
The Compass and Compass 2 was selling well.
They had a nicer rifle but I believe it was called the Venture II. I never seen one in person but read about them they were definitely a step up.
    IIRC they used 5R barrels.
I have a few barrels with 5R rifling I can't say they are more accurate, but they definitely clean up much easier.

T/C, the last I knew, were being manufactured under the Smith & Wesson brand.
So, S&W bought them out, and realized it wasn't a good fit for them?
Should have stuck to what was the T/C bread and butter.
That would be the Contender and Encore lines.

I've been looking for a shotgun barrel for my New Englander. Can't find one that's owned by a seller who's not on crack.

Would love to find a lefty version, too.
