Cashier at the Tractor Supply Co store in St John told me, yesterday afternoon, that the St John store is the largest store in the area and that the Lowell store, which is due to open up in mid/late May, will be a smaller store.
I think/thought the Merrillville TSC, on the south side of US30...
It is marketing.
Retail gas prices typically go up on Thursday, go down late on Monday. Cheapest prices are Tuesday, Wednesday.
Been that way for decades.
A lot of the people I know who send their kids to those (type) of school put their family at a very high priority, skimp and save in other places, to be able to afford those tuitions at those schools. I saw the very same at Marian Catholic and various other religious grade schools and...
A lot of the kids at those 2 schools are actually from ILLINOIS. Look at the cars pulling into those parking lots. Yes, the Indiana School Choice Program pays some of the tuition for the Indiana students. But not the Illinois students. And those schools do a lot of church fundraising too.
Add up the costs of little Jenny's private traveling volleyball league and little Johnny's baseball leagues and all the equipment and the travel expenses and the lessons.
Take that same $$$$ spent per year and set it aside for college. You could pay CA$H for tuition and housing and probably...
Generally I would agree with your first sentence, but the State of Indiana has a Constitution and in that document it states that the State will provide edumaksion for residents of this state.
As for the sportsplexes I find those to be a horrible value. And as a coach that may be an odd...
Lowell voters did the same thing.
The schools (this seems true for Lowell and some others so I guess it is true for most/all others) got lots of "covid" money and were told how the covid $$$ could be used.
Lowell apparently used it as they wished, funded a bunch of 'ongoing' project, at...

I never went back. Never recommended them to anyone after that. That was about 10 years ago? Maybe longer.
He/she/it apparently lives North of US30.
So no. Not welcome.
He/she/it is probably a raccoon hating Jedi loving, Gaston Glock fanboy who likes LEGOS and BARBIES instead of real toys like Playmobil and Thomas the Tank Engine.
We don't need him/her/it/whatever here. Jedi can welcome...
Generally speaking I'm a fan of Maker's Mark.a
Under $30 and a very good taste profile.
If a whisky (or whiskey) costs $60, then it better be twice as good as MM. Wild Turkey 101 is even cheaper, not actually better, but certainly under-appreciated. I still use Makers Mark as the standard...
Define this "fine" bourbon of which you refer.
I'm in need of some myself.
Mowing the lawn was yesterday.
Today I did the weed & feed on about 1/2 of the lawn near the house. Used the hedge trimmers to cut open the left upper of one of my favorite pairs of leather hiking shoes (not on...
