      Winchester1300 Defender

The Defender will serve you well. I'm pleased with the synthetic stock and, after trying a HD shotgun with pistol grip, decided to keep mine the way it came.

      .22 birdshot?

Look for some .22 Super Colibri ammo made by Aguila. The cartridge has a 20 grain lead bullet in a long rifle case powered by only the priming compound. It won't cycle the action in a 10-22 so it's necessary to manually cycle the bolt after each shot. The report is about the same as a pellet...

      M&P9c OWB Holster Suggestions

I'm still a fan of leather. My M&P9C carries nicely in a Don Hume JIT Slide No. 99MP. Rides close and high and remains open for reholstering.

boresnake vs boresnake viper for 9mm

My "originals" still work fine but I'd probably go for the Viper if I needed another caliber or a replacement. It's pretty easy to just pull the ones I already have through another time or two if necessary.

      Gun Banquets: Like or Dislike?

It appears all the national organizations (NRA, DU, NWTF, etc.) require the local groups to purchase a "banquet package" that includes way too much "fluff". Most of my friends who attend these events are interested in firearms and related accessories but don't care about the framed prints, coat...

Tax and 4473 forms needed to purchase used shotgun??

No different from paying sales tax on a used vehicle bought from a dealer. If you have a trade-in you pay sales tax only on the difference.

      List of Online Ammo Suppliers?

I remember seeing a list of ammo prices from various suppliers that was sorted by caliber and prices. I thought I had it saved but apparently didn't. Tried a search here and at several other forums I visit but no luck. Anybody have a link? TIA
