      I would push back and say it requires more ingenuity & creative thinking. When the cars are closer, it shifts to strategy and the drivers. I don't think the gap in driver ability has ever been closer. Instead of trying to figure out how go get more lead in the roll cage without getting caught...

      False. An investigative detention (or Terry Stop) requires reasonable suspicion. Believing someone is armed and/or dangerous are not essential elements of an investigative detention. Those could be elements to a compulsory protective frisk for weapons during an investigative detention.

      Public Schools

      My kids go to a great (out of district) public school. The district we live in is trash. Never thought about homeschool because I doubt my ability to effectively teach physics and calculus. Everyone has to make the choices for their family. I would be selling my kids short if I did homeschool.

      Retired from LE almost a year ago. Zero misdemeanor arrests or citations for (only) possession in my career for me. The idea that the jails & prisons are overflowing with Cheech and Chong types is mostly propaganda.

      If you think about it, even owning personal property free & clear does not necessarily mean you own it forever. Courts can seize your cars and personal items too.
