I was digging through a closet the other day and found a bunch of brass I had stashed in hopes of some day getting into reloading. Never did and completely forgot about it until now. I'm on the north side of Indy, not looking to drive all that far (less than 30 min?) and it's not worth...
First, appologies if this has already been discussed elsewhere--I searched and did not find.
I just got back from a great morning/afternoon at Crosley's shooting range after having a wonderful time down there...but with the exception that I couldn't pattern my new shotgun. There was a sign...
According to SWMBO, I need to sell a couple handguns in order to make a new purchase I've got my eye on.
First up is a Ruger Old Army .45 stainless 7.5" bbl black powder revolver (born 1977-78) that I bought used, but never quite got the urge to shoot. It comes with the boxes of black powder...
I recently discovered a hollow area under my asphalt driveway right where it meets up with my garage, and am getting VERY concerned about this situation... I really don't want to have to dig my truck out of my own driveway!
Does anyone here know of a good company in/around Indy that would...
I just had a buddy ask me if I could pass along his question here on INGO. The news has made it out that if anyone might know, INGO is the place they'd be--hurray!!
Anyhow, he is looking for mags for his .40 cal PT140 and apparently can't find them anywhere. The question is this: does ANYBODY...
I just had the wonderful experience of visiting the Crosley range down south of Vernon, IN. My buddy had both his Ruger 10/22 and Ruger SR22 rifles. I couldn't help but notice how much quieter the SR22 was when he shot that one, in spite of the fact that both rifles have common parts, and both...
OK, so I'm looking to pick the brains of the INGO experience pool.
Here's the scenario: set up in a great spot for deer, and then 1 or more squirrels make a ruckus and won't go away. I'd love to just pop 'em with a little .22, but do not want to carry a rifle in addition to deer hunting gear...
OK, so I've looked at many, handled a few, and still can't seem to find just what I would like in a new carry gun.
It will probably take me quite a while to convince the wife I *need* to spend the $$ on a new gun, so this is not going to be an overnight decision and I'd like to get something I...
Ok, so a friend got me to watch this video about a year ago, and though I have tried to figure it out on my own and looked through the interwebz, I am at a loss.
Does ANYBODY know what make/model call Peter Fiduccia is using around the 2:30 mark in this video...
I've had my eye on the SAR for a while now, then ran across the X95 which is new to me. I've held the SAR but not shot it; never seen the X95 in person. One of these days, when finances permit, I hope to end up with one of them, but most likely won't be able to get both. Sooooo...please help...
I've been waiting since December to get a new truck, and Toyota finally got my special order built and delivered. Even after all the anticipation, this Tacoma is better than I'd expected.
And thanks to the guys staffing the INGO table at this winter's 1500, I've even got a decent front plate...
My mom's will be this weekend. She was really big into collecting antique furniture, crystal plates/containers--I always called them gew-gaws--and old phones and such. Small house, but packed full of stuff if you're interested in these kinds of things. She also had a '72 Ford truck and a '98...
I've got a HUGE shout out to a "certain INGOer" for his assistance in making today's prank on the boss become a reality. +1000!!!
Sadly, I've got no pics, as I'm not allowed to take them... Maybe, just MAYBE, A certain blue pachyderm will be kind enough to post a pic if he managed to take one...
I didn't see anything when I looked for this with INGO search... Anyway, I need to replace the red fiber optic strand in the front sight on my Wolf. Does anyone have any idea what diameter that red strand is? I think it's silly to replace the whole front sight, as everything but the red...
I've got a beautiful old truck that has turned into a garage queen. I just don't have the time to drive it and keep it up as I should. It needs to be driven and taken care of by someone who'll appreciate what Ford quality is all about. It's been kept in a garage for all but a couple of years...
We did it again folks--we came in at number 10 for mostest unhealthiest state... But I think we can do better next year!

(Yes, I tried to check for making a dupe, but my INGO...
I thought I'd share something I found on AOL that is actually good to see.
This story, at least to me, shows one very important way in which "To Serve And Protect" is still present in today's society. Kudos to the officer involved!
Woman reunites with police officer who saved her life ...
OK... I did look for other threads on/about this, but I'm not all that good at INGO search, so please forgive me if I accidentally made a duplicate thread. Anyways, follow the link to a video of Mike Rowe discussing some pretty profound lessons learned in his Dirty Jobs days. The video is...
I just noticed I've got the same problem dieselrealtor had 3 weeks ago.
I tried to add some rep points, only to discover the only option available in the pop-up selection is "0"...
Does this have anything to do with the rep reset months ago??
Inquiring mind would love to know!
I just had the ever so wonderful experience of my Dak dropping its drive shaft and having the rear differential seize up. Does anyone know of a shop that can cheaply replace my rear diff, hopefully a shop on the north side of Indy??
Any and all suggestions would be appreciated!!
