      Turtle Creek

I recently decided I was going to get back into fishing. I used to love cat fishing when I was in my teens and since I work the night shift and find myself bored and awake til 6am on the weekend I figure it will work out well. A coworker told me about turtle creek and that it is infested...

      115gr vs 147gr in 9mm

I can't 100% say that I'm not jerking the trigger but when I shoot every round low I believe it's more with the sight picture. When I pull the trigger very slowly it does not change poi.

      115gr vs 147gr in 9mm

I was hoping it would be a couple inches. I took my m&p out and shot it for the first time and it seemed to be shooting about 3 or 4 inhes low with 115 grain ammo and was hoping 147 grain would bring it up. I guess I'll have to buy some adjustable sights.

      115gr vs 147gr in 9mm

How much higher will 147 grain shoot than 115 grain bullets out of a 4.25in barrel at 10 yards?

      Awesome find at wal mart

Got 5 boxes of federal 50 ct. 9 mm at Princeton Wal-Mart today, it was all they had off the truck tonight. I almost felt a little bad for the guy who waited behind me that I overheard asking for some 9mm when I was walking away.

      Finally

It may not be as far as pistol triggers go but I'm a precision rifle shooter so I think it feels terrible. I will be shooting it this weekend.

      Finally

I finally was able to find my full size m&p9 over the weekend at Whittakers and picked it up on Sunday. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet but I have high expectations. So far the only thing I can think of that I dislike is the trigger. Im really looking forward to shooting my dueling...

      Dueling tree

My understanding is that I could use a 110 welder as long as I make several passes. I know a 220 will ensure that it stays together. Right now Im just needed to know safe distances to shoot it at.

      Dueling tree

Ok so I found a 220 welder and Im going to weld it up on Sunday. Soon after I plan on doing some testing to ensure that it properly spins to the other side. My question now is... What is the minimum safe distance to shoot something like this from?

      Hornady One Shot case lube.

I actually switched from Imperial to One Shot just because of the ease of use. I dont know how much this helps but I bought the carbide expander for my Redding dies. The trick is that if you always start the resizing slowly and feel its hard to go in, it doesnt get easier the more you push it...

      Dueling tree

I do know that its AR steel and not 500, i believe its more around 400. That being said the stand will also be angled downwards so if one should come back at me, maybe it will just hit the legs.

      Dueling tree

Im not sure, its all freebie stuff. The guy who cut the AR steel showed me some of the other targets he cut and had shot with rifles at 200 yards without any dents. That being said, if it doesnt last as long as my bobcat plates, ill just have to call him when I need them replaced.

      Dueling tree

So Im in the process of building my own dueling tree. I have combined a few different methods that I have seen for sale. This one is going to be an 8 plate model attached to a 72in. piece of 3/8in. thick angle iron that is 3x3. All my metal is 3/8in thick if not 1/2. My question is on the choice...

      Never buy reloads!!

To go along with this, I would never sell reloads to anyone. I trust my stuff but I dont expect anyone else to.

So, Why do you carry a gun?... And your response...

Because you never know when the wife will catch the crazies and need to be put down. They all eventually do im afraid. True story

      I want to reload 9mm?

For me its that I dont feel like I have to conserve ammo because I buy supplies in bulk. I hate going shooting with friends and running out of ammo. You will have the ability to bring twice as much ammo with the same amount of nagging from the wife or less likely, you will shoot the same...

      You could also try soldering.

Is this what we're about now?

I read that thread while I was at work tonight and I thought the same thing. The post was a little difficult to read but it was much easier to read than what many people call posts these days. Much worse, people actually made a post to belittle someone they do not know, and for a childish...
