      if you can hit one with the mosin it should do the trick. pretty big chunk of led. if a .243 is ok i dont see why a mosin wouldnt do it.

      i found a navy arms black powder 44 revolver in a box while we were moving. it was rusted into 1 solid chunk but after some work i got that fixed. its shootable now....all tho it doesnt have a trigger or the other inner parts. id like to find these parts so i can actually shoot it the way it was...

      i have a buddy who loves hi point and firearms like that, he bought a lorcin 380 at the 1500 a while back and loved it because it only jammed 4 times while shooting 100 rounds, i wasnt very impressed and the fact that the slide has came off and hit the shooter in the head added to my less than...

      Hog hunting in TX.

      i just got a back a bit ago and i took my 270 and one of my buddies took a 300 win. i like the 270 due to the ballistics of the round. get a few ideas together of what rifles u wanna pick and look them up see the ballistics and choose from there. just be sure u get to Texas b4 it gets to hot...

      Would you buy a Hi Point.....

      one could always just buy one dig a hole in the back yard. drop it in and cover it up. that way if you ever need a "drop gun" you know exactly where to find one.

      ive had some say its too big but i CC my glock 23 40cal. with out any issues.

      ive never seen one work as well as my glock 23 or 1911. no matter how much it cost if it doesnt go boom when i want it too i dont have a need for it.

      thanks for all the help but i ended up finding a kit at gander mountain and it took me 5 hours to strip it, cure it, blu it. i have about 20 pictures of the process i went through just incase anyone decides to do the same. at this point im happy with how it looks but ill know for sure 2morrow...

      i just bought a 1911 and the receiver had a bad bluing job on it. it was chipped some and after about 20 rounds through it the bluing began to bobble. when i got home i took my thumb nail and started running it across the bluing and about half of it came off. i need to get the rest of it off...
