      I cary Fmj in both mags on my lcp. 380 needs as much penetration as it can get. In my Xd 9 I prefer use a hornaday hollow point(about the same as the off the shelf hornaday xtp i think) I don't have dies for. 380 yet but I have tried winchester and federal sd and feel safer with Fmj.....but I...

      "Critical Defense" dud.........

      I carried the same hornady hollow point (not cd) in the chamber of my Xd 9on for going on 6 months I have shot the gun 500+ times in the meantime.....but I have never thought about how many times the same round has been chambered. Ill shoot that mag tomorrow evening and report any issues.

      Another vote for the lcp. I had a Taurus tcp and traded it on a lc9 . The lc9 is to big to pocket carry. With that said Im picking up a used lcp tcp his weekend. I have also owned keltech pf9 and p11 I like the feel if the ruger better than the other small dao guns
