      North Porter County Conservation Club

Hey guys, I am new to the area and have a few questions about the NPCCC. Is it a member only club or could I come out and shoot as a guest? I have looked at the website and could not find an answer. Also, what are the volunteer hourly obligations for new members? I work at the steel mill on...

911 call I had to make today

Way to go. True evil is allowed to continue because good people fail to act. Damn few.

PF9 Epic Fail- Need a new 24/7 carry?

Since spring is finally here I switched from my G27 to a Kahr CW9 and love it. Looking forward to trying the new XD(s) from Springfield. They look sick and you get the 45 in a very compact package.

      Four Guns

Lafayette, IN has a relatively new gun shop named Four Guns. They are very knowledgeable, friendly, and willing to help with any need. I have been there a few times already and have not been disappointed. Their store is fairly large but not very many handguns. The long guns are on display...

Tuckable IWB holster for Ruger LC9

For my LC9 I use the versacarry. It just works.

      New shop in Lafayette.

Stopped by the other day. It is a pretty small shop with a pretty small selection. The owner said he can get anything I want in a day or two. It looks like that doesn't apeel to most.

      Glock 27 Holster Suggestions

I too have been looking for a IWB for my G27. Lots of good thoughts guys, thanks. Has anyone had any experience with White Hat holsters?

Where to buy H&K Mags from

Another great site is Tombstone Tactical. They have mags and great service.

My experience today at the 1500

Totally agree. If you want to sell guns (or anything for that matter) and dont respect customers, dont expect to be successful.

      LC9 reviews?

I am a proud owner of the LC9. I've had it for about 9 months now and it is my primary EDC. Never had one malfunction or jam.

      Four Guns in Lafayette

Great store. They have a lot more space in their new location (which needs filling). They have fair prices and great support.

      voodoo tactical

I have one and have no issues. My Sig556 and Moss 500 in it as well as 6 PMAGS. had it for about 2 yrs now and couldn't be happier.

I'm looking for a good durable backpack

Throughout my deployment I used a 5.11 pack as my 3day. Sturdy, reliable, and pretty light but it can sure take a beating. Molle on the front for added accessories as well.

      Plate Carrier

Hey all, I've been looking at getting a new plate carrier for some time. I am used to the Army's issued IOTV and am comfortable using it. Looking for something I can easily "swim" into and comfort able for run and gun. I love the pics I've seen of the 5.11 plate carrier but it is discontinued...

      Glock 22 vs. 23

Love my G23. I bought a Lone Wolf 9mm conversion barrel for the range w/ a few G19 mags. The G23 is perfect for my hands.

      Best 45 for CCW

Not a fanboy but can not deny the G36 is everything promised. It has the ability to be carried comfortably as well as full customization.

      Small .40s?

I'd go with the Kahr. For the money, you get the greatest versatility as well as a better ability to make it an everyday carry. It is a little more expensive, but you wont be unsatisfied.

How do you carry in the car?

I have a little cubby under the driving steering wheel in my F-150. Its the perfect size and I just slide my LC9 in there.

      What Would You Buy?

For me I would have to establish what my POU (purpose of use) would be. For an EDC, it would most likely be a G36 or PF9. For a go to war gun/ range gun, I would say a S&W M&P 45. For a fun gun it would have to be a Rossi Ranchhand.

      Kel-Tec

For me the P-3AT is a must for my EDC (everyday carry). If SHTF and my primary, LC9, goes out then I know I can count on the P-3AT. Never had a jam or a problem.
