S&W Revolver grips
I would like to add wooden target grips to my Model 66, round butt. Has anybody used any Taiwan products as opposed to original S&W?

Is there a web site to reference the serial number of my revolver to get the build date? It is a 66-4.

For what it is worth, I just purchased a stainless 66 with 4 inch barrel for $500. It was in very good condition.

Model 66 Wooden Grips
My "new" 66-4 has a rounded butt and I would like to install target-size wooden grips. Any places I should look or any reason not to do this?

Per my PM last week, is this transaction still going through or is it available. Looks like it is still pending.

A nice fit for a first time handgun might be a .38 or a 9mm. A .45 is a big load to handle initially.

I will be travelling to FL, which honors the IN Carry Permit. Problem is that I will be spending a night in So Carolina, which does not. How is the best way to transport my pistol while in So. Carolina?
