      Anti gun stores

      It's unfortunate that we have businesses like that. I suspect that boycotting by just a few individuals wont make a big difference. So I just keep on carrying and don't tell them. The old saying about "better to beg forgiveness than to ask permission". Works for me. Wonder what they would say...

      Indy 1500 report

      One of the things I noticed was the number of older couples that attended. Not unusual to see older guys but there were a lot of wives with them. Have also seen quite a few older women come in my business that are packing. Absolutely love it.

      Rights I feel the need to correct something. The first post mentioned inalienable rights. It is actually unalienable rights. Big difference. Unalienable rights can never be given away, sold or given up in any way. Inalienable rights can be given up.

      While it might work, if u are trying to really suppress then ur gonna have to use subsonic ammo and that will cut ur range down a lot. If , on the other hand ur trying to hide ur location signature then u can use the suppressor without subsonic ammo. That. Way u will keep ur range. This what a...

      Nuther Question

      It has been my experience that if u shoot a lot of rounds real fast then pressure builds up in the baffle area and the suppressor isn't quit as quiet on round 3,4,5 etc.

      I'm sure this news is old but the DHS is buying 450 million rds of 40 cal hollow points. What in the world do they need that many rds for. One hell of a lot of practice? I doubt it.

      The episode where they built the revolutionary new AR (not!) there was a scene with the general. What a bunch of BS. they made it very dramatic trying to build suspence but it made it corny.

      Police showed up, +1 Brown county sheriff

      I had two state police show up one time because a neighbor up the road had called about automatic fire. After I showed them my paperwork they spent about an hour looking at all my guns. They did mention that if there was ever a time they needed help they would call me. Now we are on very good terms.

      NFA Wait Time Calculator

      I am a class 3 and today I received two form 4's. Went pretty quick. NOT!!! Sent them in first week of September of 2011. I specified the year because is seems that in the very near future we may have to start doing that. Jon

      .308 Supressor help

      Cans are 4-600 dollars. But you need to have subsonic ammo for the can to really suppress. that limits your range to maybe 100 yards.

      Class 3 legality questions??

      Back in the 60's they had an amnesty for all bring backs. Hopefully he registered it back then. If not, then if there is no paperwork then the gun is illegal.
