I thought you turned off notifications, and weren’t replying? :):
Seriously though, I’m not running you through everything you asked. Agree or not, enjoy your shooting and welcome to Indiana.
Trust me, I absolutely don’t want it to be true. I wish I could pinpoint another source or discredit the lab who did the testing for me. I’m not trying to scare monger anything, or ruin your chances at finding a range you can freely shoot on. My point was shooting on your private land comes with...
I have a little one, lead exposure is a serious concern for me. On top of that, we should all want to be good stewards of our own properties. I LOVE shooting on my land but I'm here to tell you it isn't without risk. I never NEVER considered lead exposure on an outdoor range, or what it was...
Check yourself. I'm not concern trolling, and I soil tested an area that has been a private clay range for a couple decades, and got results well over [EDITED FOR PRIVACY] . For reference the EPA says you need to keep the lead in soil BELOW 400 PPM to be safe for children. My land, my range, my...
I have the same safe, I like it quite a bit... but I challenge anyone to actually get 64 guns in it. I could maybe fit 64 pistols in it, but definitely not modern rifles!
I used to own 5ac in Trafalgar near 500w and 135 and could hear people shooting pretty regularly. Apple Works is a bit south of that area but I can't imagine it would be much different. I didn't have a good backstop, and had a property with horses kind of behind me so I never shot there.
I joined maybe 10 years ago via the military membership program they had at the time. I had to move to South Carolina a couple years ago and decided to let my membership go not knowing if I'd return to Indiana in a reasonable time. Fast forward two years and I'm moving home... should have spent...
I have two stamps pending, one for 9mm/300BLK and one for 7.62.
I am seriously considering going the "high end" route and getting machined cups and Diversified Machine tube and caps. It looks like it would be a little more money, but it seems like a lot of folks are having good luck going the...
efile is not coming back any time soon for form 1 due to the fingerprint / photo / etc requirement change on the 13th. You are welcome to purchase parts now or later, but you can't drill any holes until the stamp is approved. I don't think anyone could correctly estimate the current wait time of...
Two more before the deadline, a couple Form 1 suppressors. I don't plan to see these stamps back for a year :(
1. NFA item: Form 1 Suppressor 9mm/300BLK
2. Form type: Efile Form 1
3. Transferee type: NFA Trust
4. Form sent: 11-JUL-2016
5. Check cashed: 11-JUL-2016 (EPay)
6. Pending Date...
I was considering throwing in a couple Form 1 suppressors before July, not sure if I will or not.
The one question I have not seen an answer to (but may have just missed)... I'm assuming efile for trusts will not be possible after the rule changes due to the fingerprints and all that?
Just to be clear... Does it still show up under draft, did it completely disappear, or does it now show under submitted/in-process option under "My Forms"?
I efiled two Form 1 SBRs last night, and had significant issues with the second one, it took multiple tries to submit the second one.
