WC844 safe starting load for 40gr Nosler Ballistic Tip

Thanks y'all. I will start with 24gr and work up from there. I probably should invest in a new manual also. My current one is pretty old. Thanks again, I feel better about it now.

WC844 safe starting load for 40gr Nosler Ballistic Tip

I know that H335 and WC844 are supposedly the same thing; but there are a lot of variables that can make the WC844 inconsistent from lot to lot. I have used it with other loads for my .308 and .223. I have not used it with anything as light as the 40gr Nosler Ballistic tips that I intend on...

Pros and Cons on a Smith & Wesson MP15-22 Performance Center.

Thanks for the feedback. I have an old Remington 511 that does the job on squirrels, but I'm getting older and shaky. I thought the grip on a tactical .22 might help with that. I think y'all are right about not spending the extra money. I think I will go with less money and add upgrades.

Pros and Cons on a Smith & Wesson MP15-22 Performance Center.

I am looking at buying a S&W M&P 15-22 PC. The only con I can think of is the price. I wonder if the extra $200 is worth it. I would use it for squirrel hunting mostly. Does anyone own one and how do you like it?

      Reloading room set up

I like to use the portable hand presses. I sit on the couch while my wife watches tv and leisurely load. One of them has the quick change bushings so it is fast to go from sizing die to bullet seating die. The other one I keep a factory crimp die in. I love to load this way, and I use a TV...

What's your favorite firearm and caliber you have shot?

Yep. 22 LR and maybe the .308 Pro Hunter pistol. Maybe an AR15? AGGGH! That is a really hard question. I love them all.

      Price shocker at Gander Mtn.

I have been disappointed in Gander Mountain since they cut back on their reloading supplies. For about the last year they act like they are doing a person a favor by letting them walk into the store. I have had some pleasant experiences at some of the smaller gun shops that have been popping...

      Hello.

Hello fellow shooters and hunters, I have visited the INGO site a few times and have determined that it is pretty much the best one to spend my time on. I am looking forward to being a part of the community. I hope to both learn and share. Maybe buy, sell and trade also. Glad to be here...
