In seeking clarification of the regulations and speaking to the DNR, this does not qualify as a muzzleloader in Indiana currently. That is the DNR's interpretation of this weapon and the current regulations, not my personal opinion.
Interestingly, it also does not currently qualify as a...
I've got one and I think they are worth every penny.
Just by the construction alone, you can feel it is a sturdy light. I'd put my Elzetta right up there with Surefire in terms of build and reliability. My only question is I'm not sure what your battery life would be like on the 900 lumen...
If it matters to you, though, be sure to get legitimate KAC panels. I've seen numerous knockoffs being sold as such at the 1500 in recent shows. Just buyer beware. I've seen legitimate KAC panels, too, so they are there.
1. Take a tactical illumination class. Really. The people who know how to use lights aren't using them in the way you think they are.
2. I'm not really sure on a decision to clear a house alone, at night, when the situation is not being pushed. I'm not saying you're not within your...
The people who think a Noveske, Knight, DD, etc. etc. are comparable to DPMS, RRA, PSA are the people who don't own the previously mentioned. I'm not saying anything is wrong with the latter, but to say they are the same is short-sighted.
To put the triggers that come in DPMS, RRA, PSA stock...
What I have: Very good condition (95%+) Knight 600M Micro rear sight. I do not have a front sight as it was on a SR15 E3 (f/s built into rail)
What I want: A front and rear set of Centurion C4 Diopter (HK 416 style) sights.
I am willing to haggle on adding cash or horse trading other items...
My gun likes the Hornady's SST's. They really do shoot extremely well. Blood trails have been spotty at times in my hunting party's experience with them, though. Obviously a good shot with it is going to do the job, and they hit where they are supposed to, but if you're in a swamp or such...
I've got the original SR15 E3 IWS and it has considerably more rounds down range than yours and has never even flinched. The guns flat out run and run well. Have you group tested yours yet?
Shot placement is like life--it's common sense. I don't agree with the author, in that I would never take a head shot, no matter the conditions, but that is based off of me and my beliefs. If he has a MOA rifle and has the experience and doesn't wound a deer, I won't judge him.
With a bow...
I've got the E3 (not the Mod1) and it is and has been a great rifle.
There really is a ton of value in these rifles. The two-stage trigger is top-notch, add in the value of all of the Knight accessories and the rifle is really a good value IMHO.
Mine shoots extremely well, will eat...
Get an Aimpoint T1 in a Larue and don't look back.
+1 for turning it on and changing the batteries once a year.
+1 for durability. No matter if it is in a rack or in your trunk, gear takes a beating. On a patrol rifle, the next time you get it out, your or someone else's life may depend on...
X 3.
There are a lot of nice AR's out there and I've shot a lot, and I wouldn't trade my SR15 IWS for any of them. The designs are unique and tested and the quality is as good as any.
I'm not saying Noveske, DD, LMT are not quality; obviously that isn't true. But a true Knight manufactured...
There is a lot more that goes into these decisions than most people realize.
Think of it this way: How much is it worth for a large, well-known agency to carry a certain company's gun? Or in this case, how much is it worth to a company for a new weapon from the company to be adopted by a...
And one company. There is a common denominator there.
Look at what Glock's share of the LE market has done in the past 10 years. They practically owned it 10 years ago. They still do extremely well, but they have lost a ton of LE business, for whatever reason that may be.
I'm not a...
Your idea would work, IF third generation G17's were still available. When you buy guns 90 or 100 guns at a time, you usually have to buy current models.
ISP could not buy any more Gen 3 Glock 17's.
ISP did not want to go with Gen 4 Glock 17's for new purchases and have two different models...
