      What is this rifle?

      If you go to the Wiki link and click on the picture of the bayonet. It looks like the handle of the bayonet acts as a flash hider with the bullet traveling through the handle. There is even an indention in the barrel that looks like the bullet exits out beside the blade. Someone else look at it...

      Anyone buy from Wideners recently?

      Apparently they are selling so much they can get away with it. I happened to be in town and wanted to go by and pick up to miss the hazmat fee. They only want you to do it on certain days. I used to just drop in as I drove by. Apparently they are not staffed for that anymore either.

      AR 6.5 Grendel vs. 5.56 vs. 300 AAC Blackout

      I'd get a 5.56 upper first. Even the worst AR I have shot would do better than 1.5" at 100 yards. Then look at the 6.5 Grendel for your build. Wolf makes some of their Gold ammo for the 6.5. Not as good as my reloads but it functions. Bill R.

      Ar-15 shooting steel casing

      Tight or rough chamber I had a friend who's rifle didn't like steel case ammo. His chamber was a little rough. He cleaned it really well and then spun some 4000 steel wool in it. I'm not saying hog it out just enough to smooth it a little. Ran great after that. Still had to keep it clean...
