      New neighbors (1/2 rant)

      Dont call the Police. Talk to them. When ever I get a new neighbor I try to do them a favor to get in on the right foot. Last new neighbor I had I plowed their driveway no charge. Actually I still do.

      Of course it would be silly to make them carry. Duh. And they should be thoroughly trained with many hours of live fire. Some people being it teachers or any other occupation should never handle a weapon. A friend of mines wife is the greeter at her school. She has nothing but a sliding glass...

      Went shopping for 22s today. WOW. Shelves are bare.Ended up with CCI normal velocity ammo only. It is all Dicks had. Shot it and some Remington 33 I had laying around.       Why cant I find .22 ammo

      Stopped at Farm and Fleet in Kankakee Il today. They had 8 boxes of 100 Remington for 9.96 a box. Went to Dicks and bought 500 Rounds of CCI for 20.00

      Shared pistol/rifle calibers

      I was thinking the same way. I was looking for a lever action in 45 long Colt. I found one in 44 Mag and bought it. I then bought the Ruger Blackhawk in 44 mag. Great combo. I use the same ammo in both.

      My son got me a AR7 for Christmas and I am wanting to buy reliable ammo for it. I read where one guy said CCi High Velocity ammo. Wen I check the specs the CCI has the same MV of the cheap Blazer ammo. Any good recommendations?

      Christmas thread - gun related gifts

      One son got me Outers gun cleaning kit. Other son bought me I brand new Henry AR 7 and I bought my son a Savage arms Mark II Bolt action 22lr.. I bought myself a Polish under folder kit 2 lower receivers and 1,000 rounds 7.62x39.
