      Tig Welder

      any good Tig Welders around the Lafayette area willing to look at a 1911 frame needing about 3/4 inch of the Slide guide rail welded in the rear. Looking for a good welder to let me know if this is salvageable and then have my gun smith check it for operable and safe use.

      New to the site and ready to absorb some knowledge

      I am very pleased to be a part of the Indiana gun owners and really look forward to reading, sharing, and learning. I currently am seeking information to attain a after market or used 1911 gun frame and slide for a rebuild I plan to tackle this winter.
